HCA Appoints Ann (“Annie”) Huntress Lamont to Its Board of Directors

HCA Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: HCA) today announced that Ann Huntress Lamont, Managing Partner of Oak Investment Partners, has been named an independent director of HCA’s board, effective immediately. With her addition, HCA’s board of directors increases from 13 to 14. Ms. Lamont will also serve as a member of the Company’s Compensation Committee and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.

Anna King touches the hearts of everyone at Conroe Regional Medical Center
April 22, 2013
On Wednesday, March 6th, Conroe Regional Medical Center (CRMC) held a reception in the main lobby of the hospital in honor of a twelve-year-old girl named Anna King. Anna was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy, a rare heart condition that is only allowing her heart to function at 30 percent capacity. She and her family have been raising money for the heart transplant she needs by turning to local fundraising.

HCA Recognized by Computerworld as Honors Laureate for Third Consecutive Year

HCA has been named a 2013 Laureate in IDG’s Computerworld Honors Program for a Cancer Navigation Solution developed jointly by Information Technology and Services (IT&S) and Sarah Cannon, HCA’s Cancer Service line. This is the company’s third consecutive year to receive the honor intended to recognize visionary applications of information technology promoting positive social, economic and educational change.

It is the fourth consecutive year HCA has achieved this distinction.

Nicholas Crafts joins Conroe Regional Medical Center

Conroe Regional Medical Center Chief Executive Officer, Jerry Nash, announced that Nicholas Crafts has been named HCA affiliated Conroe Regional Medical Center (CRMC) Chief Operating Officer (COO). Crafts comes to CRMC from Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas where he served as COO for the past two years. Crafts has held various healthcare leadership roles including COO at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center and Administrative Director of Operations at Tulsa Regional Medical Center.

Award Demonstrates Conroe Regional Medical Center’s Commitment To Quality Care For Stroke Patients Conroe Regional Medical Center (CRMC) has received the Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award from the American Heart Association. The award recognizes CRMC’s commitment and success in implementing a high standard of care by ensuring that stroke patients receive treatment according to nationally accepted guidelines. This marks the second year that CRMC has been recognized with a Get With The Guidelines-Stroke award.
