The Lake Area Imaging and Diagnostics is an outreach of Conroe Regional Medical Center. This 7,500 square-foot project is part of a medical complex on Highway 105 at Blue Heron Bay.
Lake Area Imaging and Diagnostics provides the latest in imaging and technology including:
MRI
Magnetic resonance imaging combines a high-powered field and radio waves to view the brain, neck, spinal cord and soft tissue.
CT
CT scans take pictures of various slices of the body and reconstructs them into a single image that can be viewed and interpreted by physicians.
Ultrasound
This diagnostic tool uses sound waves to provide physicians with a view of internal organs and tissue.
X-Ray
This is what most people think of when they hear the word “radiology.” Two-dimensional images of the body are created allowing physicians to view breaks and tears.
