CRMC/Gulf Coast Regional Blood Drives

Location: Conroe Regional Medical Center Auditorium

The last Thursday of every month (with the exception of November and December), we partner with the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center for blood drives. To schedule an appointment, please visit and login to Digital Donor, entering sponsor code 3469, or contact Laura Littlejohn at or (936) 539-7775. Appointments occur every 15 minutes. All successful donors will receive a FREE MEAL VOUCHER for the CRMC Cafeteria. Walk-ins are welcome!

H2U Brown Bag Luncheon

Location: Conroe Regional Medical Center Auditorium

Every third Wednesday of the month from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., we have an information/educational seminar on a different health topic. Physicians and professional medical staff are invited to speak on their expertise and share relevant medical information to help us lead healthy, productive lives. Mended Hearts

Hope for recovery. Hope for a rich, full life. For more than 50 years, Mended Hearts has been offering the gift of hope and encouragement to heart patients, their families, and caregivers. Patients, spouses, family members, friends, medical professionals - Mended Hearts brings together all of us who are faced with the realities of heart disease to form a network of caring individuals. Mended Minds Stroke Support Group

A stroke support group meets the second Wednesday of each month from 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Patients, families, and caregivers share and provide encouragement. For more information, please call (936) 539-2550.

Scleroderma Support Group

Location: Dining Room A, Conroe Regional Medical Center

Scleroderma is an autoimmune disease that causes a buildup of scar-like tissue in the skin, damaging the walls of the small arteries. The Scleroderma Support Group meets every third Sunday of the month at 3:00 p.m. in Dining Room A. For more information, please call (832) 217-5077.

Weight Loss Surgery Seminars and Support Groups

4-Week Series Child Birth Preparation

This four-week series prepares the expectant mother and her support person for labor and delivery.

One-day Child Birth Preparation

This one-day condensed class is intended as a refresher for those who have previously delivered a child, those whose schedule does not allow for the six-week series, or those who are due shortly.

Newborn Care

This two and a half hour class assists parents-to-be in developing the skills needed during those first few weeks of enjoying your newborn.

Understanding Pregnancy

This one day class is a great informational class for first and early second trimmest parents. The information provided will review what to expect during their pregnancy.

This two-hour course covers many of the benefits of breastfeeding. Learn the “how to’s” and other relevant topics to help mom and baby succeed and enjoy their breastfeeding relationship.

Friends and Family CPR

Individuals who will be caring for infants/and or children learn the methods of administrating CPR. Participants will be taught by certified CPR instructors and receive an Infant/Child CPR identification card.

Sibling Silly Class and Tour

This class introduces older sibling(s) to changes that arrive along with the new baby, and includes a tour of the Women’s and Newborn Center.

Safe Sitter

A two-day course for girls and boys age 11 – 13. The Safe Sitter Program is a medically accurate program that teaches adolescents how to handle emergencies when caring for younger children. All medical information is taught by a certified professional. Students get hands-on practice in basic lifesaving techniques so they are prepared to act in a crisis. They receive information on child development, age-appropriate activities, and the business aspects of baby-sitting.
