Board of Trustees
The role of CRMC’s Board of Trustees is to assist in evaluating the hospital’s delivery of health care, and the development of new service lines and programs. They ensure our patients are provided the most advanced technology and cost-effective healthcare, close to home.
Meet Our Board:
Deborah Ancona-Schultz, MD
Dr. Ancona-Schultz is a 1984 graduate of Yale College, where she majored in biology. She attended NYU School of Medicine, graduating Alpha Omega Alpha. She completed a one-year internship in medicine at NYU in 1989. Ancona-Schultz’s residency in diagnostic radiology was at Bellevue Hospital, followed by a two-year fellowship in neuroradiology at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
Ancona-Schultz is board certified in diagnostic radiology and is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology. She worked for a multispecialty clinic in Wichita Falls, Texas for four years prior to coming to Houston, at which point she served as medical director of River Oaks Imaging. She has been at Conroe Regional Medical Center for more than five years, and currently serves on the Trauma Committee.
George Boyle, MD
Dr. George Boyle received his medical degree from University of Kansas, completed his residency in internal medicine and then his fellowship in cardiology at the University of Texas Medical School in Galveston. He most recently graduated with his master’s degree in liberal studies from Rice University. He is board certified by the American College of Cardiology and the American Board of Internal Medicine and has been designated as a “Top Doc” by Texas Monthly Magazine. He is the past president of the American Heart Association, Montgomery County and is also a past member of the Texas State American Heart Association Scientific Committee.
Boyle is a cardiologist affiliated with Conroe Physician Associates and has been a medical staff leader at CRMC for a number of years. Dr. Boyle has served as medical director in the vascular lab and as vice chair of Cardiology. He has been a member of the CRMC board since April 2003.
Julie P. Martineau
Julie P. Martineau is a nonprofit consultant developing business plans, strategic plans, fund raising plans and other products to help an organization grow effectively and efficiently. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Social Work from California State University at Long Beach. Her professional career has been dedicated to building the capacity of the non-profit community. As the chief executive officer at two local non-profits, she has expanded the number of people served and services offered by creating lasting partnerships with key community stakeholders. Ms. Martineau is an active member of several local organizations. She is the immediate past president of the Rotary Club of The Woodlands, co-chair of the Conroe Chamber of Commerce Workforce Development Committee, and a member of the board for Conroe Regional Medical Center. She has served as chair of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce and the League of Women Voters of Montgomery County. She was the co-founding chair of Leadership Montgomery County. Additional leadership positions have been with the Greater Conroe Chamber of Commerce, Houston-Galveston Area Council, National Charity League Bluebonnet Chapter and United Ways of Texas. Montgomery County’s Commissioners’ Court has tapped her as their appointee to several Houston-Galveston Area Council’s committees addressing aging services, Hurricane Ike Recovery Grants and Regional Transit Planning. She is currently consulting for several local and regional non-profits and assisting other non-profit CEOs move their organizations to the next level. She and her late husband, Russ, moved to The Woodlands in 1983 where her parents still live and has two married daughters and four grandchildren.
David Moore is an entrepreneur and president of D. Moore Enterprises Inc., in Montgomery County. He currently owns Texan Harley-Davidson in Conroe, Harley-Davidson of The Woodlands, and Harley-Davidson of Kingwood. Prior to these ownerships, Moore retired from the Houston Fire Department in 1985 where he served as a Paramedic / Firefighter. He also owned and operated a private ambulance and medical staffing company in the Houston area. He served as a director and Chairman of the board of the Greater Conroe/Lake Conroe Area Chamber of Commerce and has been an active participant in many local associations. In 2001, Moore established Cut’N’Shoot Charities, which has become a major contributor to the Montgomery County Women’s Shelter, The Montgomery County Food Bank, and several other client based services in the Montgomery County area. He has been a resident of Montgomery County for more than 25 years.
Moore has served on the Board at CRMC since April 2004.
Nimesh Patel, MD
Dr. Nimesh Patel is a 2002 graduate of Ross University School of Medicine. His completed his residency and internship in internal medicine at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is board certified in internal medicine and currently works for Montgomery Physician Associates. Patel previously worked for UHC-GHS Hospitalists and Sadler Clinic.
Patel has been on staff at Conroe Regional Medical Center since 2006 and currently serves as Physician Advisor.
Desi Pesina received his bachelor of arts from Texas Tech University in 1967. He served in the U.S. Army and is retired from the Texas Department of Human Services where he held the position of Human Resources regional director. Pesina has served on the CRMC board since April 2004. A resident of The Woodlands, Pesina served as a National Officer of the League of United Latin American Citizens and is a past board member of the Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber.
As Deputy Director of the Greater Conroe Economic Development Council, Danielle is responsible for marketing Conroe to new businesses and helping them navigate the incentive process. She received a BS in Recreation, Parks & Tourism Sciences from Texas A&M University and is a certified Professional Community and Economic Developer (PCED) through the Community Development Council. Danielle is a graduate of Economic Development Institute at the University of Oklahoma and will sit for the Certified Economic and Community Developer (CEcD) exam this year.
In addition to her service on the CRMC Board of Trustees, Danielle serves as President of the Board of Directors for the Executive Women’s Alliance and recently joined the Board of Directors for New Danville, serving special needs adults. She also is a Past Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce, Past Chairman of Montgomery County United Way and Past Chairman of Leadership Montgomery County (LMC). Danielle is an active member of the LMC Alumni Association and serves on the Class Council representing the Class of 2006.
Troy A. Villarreal, President, HCA Gulf Coast Division
Troy A. Villarreal joined HCA Gulf Coast Division as President in June 2016 from Medical City Dallas Hospital, where he had been chief executive officer since October 2013. Before that, he was the chief executive officer at The Medical Center of Plano for five years.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology at Texas A&M University and master’s degrees in health care administration and business administration at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. He is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Villarreal has a strong history of community service. He is a graduate of Leadership Plano Class 27 and formerly served on the executive committee board, strategic planning committee, and alumni committee of Leadership Plano. He also has served on the board of the Plano Chamber of Commerce as campaign cabinet chair for Collin County and as a member of the advisory board of the United Way of Greater Dallas.
Since joining HCA in 1993, Villarreal has been responsible for major facility upgrades, significant growth, and increased patient, physician and employee satisfaction at a variety of HCA hospitals.
