Conroe Regional Medical Center is a Texas Ten Step Program facility, a designation by the Department of State Health Services, in partnership with the Texas Hospital Association. The program encourages breastfeeding as the preferred method of feeding for newborns – something that doesn’t always come easily.

That’s why we offer one-on-one consultation with an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant. She will help you and your baby be successful at breastfeeding by dealing with issues such as latching on, sucking problems, and refusal to nurse, as well as how to prevent sore nipples and manage engorgement.

We also offer “Breastfeeding Basics and Beyond,” a free, two-hour class onsite at Conroe Regional Medical Center.
