Catheterization Lab

A “cath lab” is an examination room with diagnostic imaging equipment that visualizes the heart by passing a thin tube, called a catheter, through the arm, neck, or groin. Conroe Regional Medical Center’s state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization labs offer diagnostic testing and therapeutic intervention for patients who are at risk of, or who have experienced, a cardiovascular event. Our cardiologists and electrophysiologists perform the following diagnostic and therapeutic procedures/treatments: 

  • Coronary stent procedures
  • Peripheral procedures and interventions
  • Pacemaker implants
  • Balloon angioplasty
  • Electrophysiology
  • Defibrillator implants
  • Cardiac-resynchronization therapy-device implants
  • Angiojet thrombectomy
